Ohio Valley Pride is a local 501(c)(3) organization that exists to educate, communicate, and help protect LGBTQ+ persons from oppression, ridicule, and abuse.  They are dedicated to creating a more positive, safe, and inclusive community where all are welcome. Their group’s purpose is to promote cooperation and understanding among all people; develop a welcoming community space; promote well-being and human rights for all; and work to end prejudice and discrimination.  They are working toward these goals by performing educational services and community outreach; promoting positive images of LGBTQ+ persons; and building and sharing a network of information and resources.
